　　Hu Chunhua pointed out that the central region has unique geographical advantages and good industrial foundation. Since the implementation of the strategy of the rise of the central region, especially since the 18th National Congress, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core, the endogenous power of the economy in the central region has been continuously strengthened, emerging industries have developed rapidly, people's living standards have continued to improve, and reforms and opening up have achieved new historic achievements. The Chinese government supports the central region in seizing the opportunity of a new round of high-level opening up, actively advances the Belt and Road Initiative, strengthens major infrastructure construction, accelerates industrial transformation and upgrading, and further improves the business environment.
